The researchers are then analyzing some factors while each woman is giving birth, including the duration of each stage of labor, the mode of delivery, maternal weight gain, the use of an epidural and the weight of the baby. They concluded that the expectant mothers who are active in the aerobic workouts during their pregnancies were more likely to spend less time in the labor than the women who have not.

The women in the exercise group are also less likely to use an epidural during the childbirth. Furthermore, the neonate macrosomia, which is when a newborn is a significantly more significant than the average, which is more prevalent among the mothers in the control group.

While exercising during pregnancy may also help the mothers to restore their fitness after giving birth, to getting back into shape after carrying a baby for the nine months that is far easier than to do.
